The Purpose Built Student Accommodation of 580 Student Bedrooms is located in the City of Bradford, which is one mile southwest of the city centre and an established student area. The main Bradford University campus is 10 minutes’ walk, and the St. Luke’s Hospital is 12 minutes’ walk.
Bradford has one major Higher Education Institution, the University of Bradford, as well as one of the largest colleges in the UK, Bradford College. The University of Bradford is given an overall ranking of 69 in the complete university guide rankings.
The University is recognised as a leading institution in the green movement, with its ecoversity programme assessing sustainable issues throughout the University. This has led to the creation of The Green, a sustainable student village which is part of a £70m modernization plan.
The site is directly next to the west of the Universal Student Living Bradford Halls of Residence. There are a number of student halls in the vicinity operated by IQ Student Accommodation (Arkwright House), Sanctuary Students (Wardley House), and The Green Campus which was constructed in 2011.
